What is HRW2?

HRW2 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £13 per year for hrw2.

What do I need to do?

* Manage fully established hedgerows using one of these approaches:

Cut incrementally each year

Cut on a rotation, no more than once every 3 years (max one third of hedges yearly)

Cut on a rotation, no more than once every 2 years (max half of hedges yearly)

Manage in a coppicing or laying rotation (may be left uncut for 3 years)
