What is RP15?

RP15 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £33.64 per year for concrete yard renewal.

What do I need to do?

* Construct an upgraded concrete base at least 150mm thick on 150mm compacted hardcore to manage yard run-off without increasing effluent loss.

Reinforce the concrete base to minimize cracking.

Lay concrete in bays and treat all joints with effluent-resistant sealant.

* Only fully load concrete after 28 days (when design strength is achieved).

* Do not roof over the outside yard receiving aid.

What evidence do I need?

  • You must keep written support from your Catchment Sensitive Farming adviser and provide with your application.

  • You must also keep and provide with your claim:

photographs of the site during the different stages of construction or contracts, invoices or other documents confirming the technical specification for the completed works

photographs of the completed works

* any consents or permissions from the local planning authority
