What is IPM2?

IPM2 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £798.00 per year for flower-rich grass margins, blocks, or in-field strips.

What do I need to do?

* Establish and maintain flower-rich grass margins, blocks, or in-field strips.

* Sow a seed mix with at least 4 grass species (no ryegrass, max 90% by weight) and **10 wildflower species (no single species >25% of wildflower component by weight)*.

Once established, maintain to achieve the action's aim, avoiding:

Cutting or grazing that prevents achieving the aim.

Mechanical application of fertilisers and manures.
