What is SP5?
SP5 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £10 per year for shepherding supplement.

* Keep records of shepherding or herding activities on the agreed area

Which land is eligible?
It is available for Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier on part-parcels on land where shepherding needs to be introduced, reintroduced or where significant changes to current practices are needed.
