What is SPM4?
SPM4 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £7 per year for keep native breeds on extensively managed habitats supplement (50-80%).
What do I need to do?
* Ensure at least 50% of total grazing livestock units (GLU) on land entered into this action are:
* Pedigree rare native breeds (registered in a recognised pedigree breeding book)
* Maintain stocking density as required by the applicable base action.
* Use specified GLU conversion values for cattle, sheep, goat, pony/donkey, and horse.
