RP2: Gateway relocation
What is RP2?
RP2 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £369.59 per year for gateway relocation.
What do I need to do?
* Leave existing gate posts in place, especially traditional or historic ones
* Re-route existing trackways associated with the gateway and improve disused sections
* Fill the gap left by the old gateway with materials matching the boundary's character
* Use new hanging and shutting posts in the new gateway
* leave existing gate posts where they are, keeping any existing stone or slate posts that are traditional landscape or historic features
What evidence do I need?
You must keep and provide with your claim:
photographs of the completed work
consents and advice from the Highways Authority or a historic environment specialist connected with the work
