What is NUM2?
NUM2 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £102.00 per year for num2.
What do I need to do?
* Establish and maintain legumes on improved grassland
Use one or more legume types such as red clover, white clover, alsike clover, sainfoin, lucerne, or bird’s foot trefoil
Establish by adding to an existing grass sward or sowing a mix of grass and legumes
Maintain legumes in a way that achieves the action's aim
Existing legume areas can be used if they meet requirements and are not funded by another environmental land management scheme option, such as CS option GS4 (legume and herb-rich swards)

You should keep evidence to show what you’ve done to complete this action. This will help if it’s not clear that you’ve completed the action in a way that could reasonably be expected to achieve this action’s aim. You must supply this evidence if we ask for it.
This evidence could include photographs and other documentation to show what you’ve done to complete this action.
