WT5 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £424 per year for pond management (more than 100 square metres).

What do I need to do?

* Manage pond vegetation , control scrub and invasive non-native plants , and graze or cut pond margins.

* Retain overhanging trees, bushes, and deadwood.

* Maintain clear, unpolluted water and the current water regime.

Do not introduce plants or animals, deepen or change the pond profile, or infill the pond.
