WT4 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £424 per year for pond management (less than 100 square metres).

What do I need to do?

* Manage vegetation in the pond

* Control scrub and invasive non-native plants

* Retain overhanging trees, bushes and deadwood

* Graze or cut the margins of the pond

* Maintain clear, unpolluted water and the current water regime
