TE5: Supplement for use of individual tree-shelters
What is TE5?
TE5 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £2.43 per year for supplement for use of individual tree-shelters.
What do I need to do?
* Put up a tree shelter immediately after planting
* Ensure shelters are flush with the ground and secured with 25mmx25mm wooden stakes
* Check and maintain shelters regularly until trees are established, ensuring they last at least 5 years
* Dispose or recycle shelters and stakes according to relevant waste disposal regulations
* put up a tree shelter immediately after the tree is planted
What evidence do I need?
You must keep and provide on request:
any consents or permissions connected with the work
receipted invoices, or bank statements where a receipted invoice is unavailable
