SM4: Traps for American mink
What is SM4?
SM4 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays per year for traps for american mink.
What do I need to do?
* Provide at least 3 written quotations for equipment costs
* Agree quotation with Natural England
* Install traps, mink rafts, and remote units according to your species management plan
* Maintain traps, rafts, and units for the agreement duration
* Only use legally approved traps
What evidence do I need?
You must provide photographs of the completed works when they are in place and installed when you make your claim for payment.
You must also keep and provide on request:
receipted invoices for the materials
photographic evidence of the traps or rafts
* copies of any consents or permissions connected with the work
How much does SM4 pay?
SM4 pays per year.
