What is FY2?

FY2 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays per year for woodland infrastructure.

What do I need to do?

* Have an approved woodland management plan or Forestry Commission adviser agreement confirming the necessity of a forest road.

* Prepare and agree a detailed site-specific specification covering work, expected timber production, and soil conditions, ensuring it meets CDM regulations.

* Provide 3 written quotations for the works with your application.

* Check for and obtain all necessary consents or permissions (e.g., local authority, highways authority, watercourse consents) and submit them with your initial application.

* Do not carry out construction work without approval from the responsible body.

What evidence do I need?

You must keep and provide with your claim:

receipted invoices or bank statements where a receipted invoice is not available

photographs of the completed work

You must also keep and provide on request:

any other consents or permissions connected with the work

FY2 pays per year.
