What is CWT14?
CWT14 is an action under the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) scheme. It pays £1605.00 per year for create fen, reedbed or wetland mosaics.
What do I need to do?
* Establish fen, reedbed, or wetland mosaic as detailed in your feasibility study or implementation plan.
* Provide suitable hydrological conditions and manage the wetland to maintain clear, unpolluted water.
* Manage trees and scrub to cover no more than 10% of the area, as agreed with your adviser.
* Dispose of cut material and carry out earthworks using agreed methods.
* Do not apply fertilisers, manures, or pesticides (except agreed spot-treatment herbicides for specific weeds).
