Using the farm map

Written by Sven Poppelmann

Farm Map

The interactive map shows all your farm parcels with their boundaries, land use data, and compliance status.

Navigating the map

  • Zoom - Scroll or pinch to zoom in and out

  • Pan - Click and drag to move around

  • Select a parcel - Click any parcel to see its details

Parcel information

When you select a parcel, you can see:

  • Parcel reference number and area

  • Current land use classification

  • Active schemes and requirements

  • [[company/evidence|Evidence]] linked to this parcel

  • Soil data and environmental features

Map layers

Switch between different map views including satellite imagery, OS maps, and compliance overlays to see your farm from different perspectives.

Map lenses

Map lenses recolour the parcels and change what a click reports, so you can answer a specific question at a glance. To switch lens, use the lens picker in the map toolbar. Available lenses include:

  • Land - the default geometry-first view; use for drawing and layer editing

  • Compliance - colours parcels by their compliance status across active schemes

  • Evidence - shows which parcels have evidence linked and which are missing it

  • Field data - soil organic matter tints from your latest lab results

  • Carbon - soil carbon stock per parcel from the Carbon module

  • Designations - SSSI, SAC, SPA and other statutory designations overlaid on the farm

  • Water - parcel-level Farming Rules for Water compliance verdict

  • Rain - recent rainfall observations

  • SFI - draws live SFI agreement polygons from the RPA register for the land around your farm, so you can see what neighbouring land is enrolled in. Colours show scheme generation (SFI 2023 vs SFI expanded offer). No holder names are shown. Zoom in to at least the local area view to load data.
