The oversight dashboard

Written by Sven Poppelmann

The Oversight Dashboard is the executive summary of every farm in your organisation. It is the home page for advisers and managers who need to spot problems early without drilling into each farm individually.

Opening the dashboard

From the sidebar, click Oversight. The dashboard opens by default. The URL is /org/[your-org]/oversight/dashboard.

What you'll see

  • Welcome banner - your name, total farms, total hectares and the value of your portfolio

  • Summary strip - overdue declarations, tasks due this week and the number of farms needing attention

  • Declaration pipeline - the lifecycle of every declaration grouped by status (pending, actions complete, submitted, paid) with overdue items called out

  • Overdue items - one place to see what is past due across the whole portfolio

  • Scheme completion - colour-coded progress bars per scheme

  • Portfolio summary - hectares, scheme count and management tiers

  • Team snapshot - members and their current workload

  • Recent activity - a feed of significant events refreshing every 30 seconds

Drilling in

Every card is clickable. From here you can jump directly into a farm, a scheme or a declaration. Use the dashboard as a triage tool: scan the strip, click into the worst offender, fix or assign the issue, then come back.

Who can see it?

The Oversight area appears for users with multi-farm visibility - typically owners, managers and consultants. Farmers see only their own farm.

Tips

  • Start your week on the dashboard - it surfaces what needs your attention before you open any individual farm

  • If you manage many farms, pin the dashboard tab in your browser

  • The activity feed is a good audit trail in itself - it shows who did what across the organisation
