The activity timeline

The Timeline is a chronological view of everything happening across your farms - evidence submissions, staff sign-ins, H&S acknowledgements, compliance milestones, document uploads. It is the human-friendly companion to the more technical audit trail.

Opening the timeline

From the sidebar choose Timeline. Events appear with the most recent at the top, grouped by day.

What you'll see

  • Evidence submitted - new uploads from the farm or external request links

  • Staff sign-ins - visitors and contractors using the H&S portal

  • H&S acknowledgements - confirmations recorded at sign-in

  • Compliance milestones - actions completed, declarations submitted

  • Document uploads - new files added to the vault

Each entry shows who did what and when. Click any entry to jump to the underlying record.

When to use it

  • End of day review - quickly scan what your team has done

  • Onboarding - new team members can scroll back to see how the farm operates

  • Audit support - prove that activity has happened on the dates you claim

Timeline vs Audit Trail

The Timeline is designed for humans - what happened, told as a story. The Audit Trail (Oversight > Audit Trail) is the same data but with technical detail and category filters. Use Timeline for review; use Audit Trail when you need to drill in.

Tips

  • Make a habit of glancing at the Timeline on Monday morning - you'll catch anything from the weekend

  • If something looks odd, the Audit Trail is the next stop for the technical detail

  • Sign-ins from the H&S portal show in real time, so you can see who's on site right now
