Portfolio audit trail

Written by Sven Poppelmann

The audit trail is the complete event log for everything happening across your organisation - agreements, evidence, tasks, payments, inspections, document changes and team activity. It is your single source of truth for who did what, where and when.

Opening the audit trail

From the sidebar choose Oversight > Audit Trail. The page loads the last 30 days of events grouped by date, with the most recent at the top.

What an event looks like

Every entry in the timeline shows:

  • An icon for the event category (agreement, evidence, task, payment, inspection, document, team, system)

  • A short title and description

  • The time (HH:MM)

  • A farm badge and, where relevant, a scheme badge

  • The actor - the user or system that triggered the event

Filtering

Use the category multi-select at the top to narrow the feed (e.g. only show evidence and task events). Click Clear filters to reset. The total event count and a Load more button at the bottom let you page back through history.

When to use it

  • Audits and inspections - prove what was done and when

  • Investigating issues - if a number looks wrong, find out what changed

  • Onboarding - new team members can scroll back to see how the team works

  • Accountability - know which adviser made which change

Tips

  • Filter by category before searching - it cuts the feed down quickly

  • Click any farm badge to jump straight to the relevant farm

  • Export-style snapshots can be taken by screenshot for inclusion in inspector reports
