The [[company/farmwalk|Farmwalk]] vault accepts a wide range of file types to cover everything from photos taken in the field to formal agreement PDFs.
Accepted file types
Images - JPG, PNG, HEIC (photos from phones and cameras)
Documents - PDF, Word documents (agreements, reports, letters)
Spreadsheets - Excel, CSV (soil results, field records)
Audio - MP3, WAV, M4A (voice notes, recorded sessions)
Video - MP4, MOV (field recordings, drone footage)
Audio and video transcription
Audio and video files are automatically transcribed after upload using [[company/deepgram|Deepgram]]. The transcription text is stored alongside the file, making spoken content searchable.
Tips
Photos taken on modern phones (HEIC format) are supported directly - no need to convert
For best results with evidence photos, ensure the subject is clearly visible and well-lit
When uploading evidence from the field using the capture interface, geolocation data is recorded automatically
