The Farmwalk vault accepts a wide range of file types to cover everything from photos taken in the field to formal agreement PDFs.
Accepted file types
Images - JPG, PNG, HEIC (photos from phones and cameras)
Documents - PDF, Word documents (agreements, reports, letters)
Spreadsheets - Excel, CSV (soil results, field records)
Audio - MP3, WAV, M4A (voice notes, recorded sessions)
Video - MP4, MOV (field recordings, drone footage)
Audio and video transcription
Audio and video files are automatically transcribed after upload using Deepgram. The transcription text is stored alongside the file, making spoken content searchable.
Tips
Photos taken on modern phones (HEIC format) are supported directly - no need to convert
For best results with evidence photos, ensure the subject is clearly visible and well-lit
When uploading evidence from the field using the capture interface, geolocation data is recorded automatically
