Assigning requirements to parcels

Written by Sven Poppelmann
Updated today

Many scheme requirements apply to specific land parcels, not the whole farm. Assigning requirements to parcels helps you track exactly where work needs to happen and ensures evidence is linked to the right piece of land.

How to assign requirements to parcels

  1. Open the scheme agreement from your farm's Schemes page

  2. Select a requirement or action item

  3. Click Assign to parcels

  4. Select the relevant parcels from the list or click them on the map

  5. Save your selection

Viewing parcels on the map

Your farm map shows all parcels with their boundaries. Parcels that have scheme requirements assigned are highlighted. Click any parcel to see its reference number, area, and which scheme items are linked to it.

Tips

  • For SFI actions, parcels are particularly important since payment rates often depend on the area enrolled

  • When uploading evidence from the field, geolocation data is captured automatically to help match evidence to the correct parcel

  • If a parcel appears in multiple schemes, you can see all linked requirements from the parcel detail view
