Logging in with your phone number or email

Farmwalk uses a simple, secure login system with one-time passwords (OTP). No passwords to remember - just your phone number or email address and a verification code sent to you each time.

Login process

  1. Go to the Farmwalk login page

  2. Enter your phone number or email address

  3. Click Send Code

  4. Check your phone or email for a 6-digit verification code

  5. Enter the code in the app

  6. You're logged in

Phone number login

  • Use your full phone number including country code (e.g., +44 7700 123456)

  • You'll receive an SMS with your verification code

  • Codes arrive within 30 seconds typically

  • Each code is valid for 5 minutes

Email login

  • Use the email address associated with your Farmwalk account

  • Check both inbox and spam folders for the verification email

  • Click the code in the email or copy it into the app

  • Codes expire after 5 minutes for security

Magic links

Some workflows provide magic links that log you in automatically:

  • Evidence request links

  • Shared consult session summaries

  • Team invitation links

Troubleshooting login issues

  • No code received - Check spam folder, ensure phone has signal, wait up to 2 minutes

  • Code not working - Ensure you're entering it within 5 minutes, check for typos

  • Wrong number/email - Double-check the contact details you entered

  • Account not found - Contact your farm manager to ensure you've been added to the organisation

Security features

  • No passwords means no password breaches

  • Codes expire quickly to prevent misuse

  • Login attempts are rate-limited to prevent spam

  • All login activity is logged for security monitoring

  • Save Farmwalk as a bookmark for quick access

  • Ensure your phone number and email are up to date in your profile

  • If you change phone numbers, update your account before losing access to the old number
