Capturing evidence while you're actually doing the work is the most efficient way to build your compliance records. Farmwalk's mobile interface makes this seamless, with automatic geolocation and direct linking to scheme requirements.

Using the mobile camera

  1. Navigate to the specific scheme requirement that needs evidence

  2. Tap Add Evidence then Camera

  3. Take your photo - the GPS location is automatically captured

  4. Add a brief description of what the photo shows

  5. Submit - the evidence is immediately linked to the requirement

Upload from device storage

  1. From any scheme requirement, select Add Evidence

  2. Choose Upload File

  3. Select photos, PDFs, or documents from your device

  4. Add descriptions to make them easy to find later

  5. Confirm - files are uploaded and linked

Geolocation benefits

  • Automatic parcel linking - Photos taken on your land are automatically associated with the correct parcel

  • Audit trail - Location data proves where and when evidence was captured

  • Map integration - Evidence appears on your farm map for visual reference

Best practices for field capture

  • Take photos as you complete each task - don't leave it until later

  • Include date/time stamps in your photos when possible

  • Capture wide shots showing context and close-ups showing detail

  • Add brief but descriptive notes explaining what you've done

Tips

  • Enable location services on your mobile device for automatic geolocation

  • Take multiple angles of the same work to provide comprehensive evidence

  • Upload evidence immediately while you have mobile signal
