Getting your first farm and compliance scheme set up in Farmwalk is the foundation of your compliance management. This process establishes your farm boundaries, land parcels, and the specific requirements you need to track.

Adding your farm

  1. From the main dashboard, click Add Farm or navigate to your organisation settings

  2. Enter your farm details: name, location, and basic information

  3. Your farm parcels will be imported from available land registry data

  4. Review the parcel boundaries on the map to ensure accuracy

Adding your first scheme

  1. Navigate to Schemes from the sidebar

  2. Click Add New Scheme

  3. Select your scheme type from the available options: SFI, Countryside Stewardship, Glastir, Ffermio Bro, SFS, AECS, NVZ, Red Tractor, LEAF Marque, WildFarmed, or Health & Safety

  4. Enter your agreement details and start/end dates

  5. Assign specific scheme requirements to relevant parcels

Verification steps

  • Check that all your parcels appear correctly on the map

  • Verify scheme requirements match your actual agreement

  • Test uploading a piece of evidence to ensure the system works

Tips

  • Start with one scheme to get familiar with the system before adding others

  • Double-check parcel assignments - requirements must be linked to the correct land

  • Keep your agreement documents in the vault for reference
